To create a marketing campaign that can connect to parents with young kids.
To stand out amongst its competitors, AIA Singapore wanted to have an exclusive asset that allows their agents to better connect with young families in Singapore. The client has worked with Hamilton & Sherwind to tap on our creative thinking and create various out-of-the-box marketing approaches to make their campaign a success.
This is the first time that AIA Singapore uses a mascot, Buddy for their marketing campaign. So the client is totally unfamiliar with how best to integrate the character in their campaigning.
Agency is also required to consistently assure that the essence of AIA Vitality is always represented when building Buddy's character.
In line with the current trend of the children’s MV, Hamilton & Sherwind suggested creating easy-to-learn dance steps and lyrics, highly animated characters, exciting environments as well as simple, learning fun. As a result, the MV successfully appealed to the young kids and their parents.
To fit the client's timeline, AIA’s first-ever kid’s Buddy Dancercise Music Video was done within 2.5 months! Our team has taken part in the entire development process of the MV, including conceptualization, talent sourcing, choreography, song composition, and animation of the MV.
In order to maximise the marketing effort, the team has also created a 360 campaign based on Buddy on various touchpoints, such as various social media content, Clear Channel Playbus shelter animated video, digital banners, and much more.

To create mass awareness and sign-ups for the AIA Family Fest campaign.
AIA Family Fest is an annual event hosted by AIA Singapore for families and loved ones to get together and enjoy themselves. As part of marking 100 years in Asia, AIA is committed to doing more with individuals and families in Singapore into the next 100 and beyond.
In order for the event to reach a broader audience, the client has partnered with Hamilton & Sherwind for our creative thinking and strategies.
While the AIA Family Fest is an event to engage mainly the existing customers, the client would also like to welcome potential new customers to join the event. The client wants the customers to bring their family and friends down as there are various fun-filled activities and food vendors bringing in delicious food for everyone.
Attendees need to pre-register via a microsite to receive a goodie bag. Agency is tasked as well to push for pre-registration numbers.
In order to reach the client's target audience effectively, Hamilton & Sherwind has suggested a combination of digital and traditional touchpoints for the AIA Family Fest campaign.
Besides using audience-targeted digital banners, we created taxi wraps, A5 flyers, and bus shelter screens to engage with the client's potential new customers. The AIA Family Fest campaign was such a success that the client has partnered with us for a few years for the same event.
